today

yesterday, got up cant even remember what happened earlier in the day. oh wait went for a walk with miriam, she showed me some of the galleries and a sweet gallery pass offer that im gonna get you guys to get when you get here and get off the get plane. then went to a vivaldi and samba guy classic concert thing in the best building ever known, it was pretty great. they had a amish playing clavichord and an amazing celloist, but the violin soloist was kinda boring, but really really good.

after that wound down, went outside at night for a cig and a draw and met some rasta and friends playing guitar on this big red thing on a little walking street. drew and sung with them for a while until someone from the top floor apartment block next to us threw a bucket of water onto them and they scurried off laughing. met another illustrator dude who drew amazing observations.

today i went to help chloe rearrange her office, its an amazing semi run down building thats really nice inside. they run a tour management business for touring music tours and most of the other rooms are studios occupied by the loveliest people. she said i could paint her door which is this huge amazing, so im looking forward to that. in about 10 minutes jem is gonna pick me up to draw to his music/story so it can help him write lyrics in english, hes super sweet. also he records stuff, and recorded cocorosie ages ago so im gonna get some of their old stuff off of him. yeah!

p.s. the one thing ive been tempted to splurge lots of money on since i got here is a hand crafted 3 player chess set. (!)
